Mr. Anthony Murphy
Mr. Anthony Murphy, the Executive Director of Operation Town Watch Integrated Services for the City of Philadelphia returns to Between the Minutes! Anthony is a true pioneer and driving force behind the success of the program. Mr. Murphy in his own right comes from a very diverse background starting with his tremendous work throughout the City of Philadelphia's neighborhoods, schools, and his efforts in making the Town Watch Integrated Services the best operation in the country. Guest hosting this week will be Frank Amabile, current Executive Vice President of CyberSoft.
Leigh Whitaker
Leigh Whitaker is the Director of Communications for SugarHouse Casino. In her role, Whitaker is responsible for developing and implementing a community relations plan, as well as strengthening relationships with other organizations across the city. She serves as the primary liaison with City Council, local community groups, neighbors and consultants, and has day-to-day oversight of governmental relations, external affairs, and community relations. Prior to joining SugarHouse, Whitaker served as Deputy Chief of Staff for the School District of Philadelphia. Whitaker is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University and Temple University Beasley School of Law, and is a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania.
Bill Green and David Oh
Bill Green is a City Councilman At-Large in the City of Philadelphia. A native Philadelphian, Bill is continuing his family’s strong commitment to public service: his father served as Congressman, Chairman of Philadelphia’s Democratic City Committee, and Mayor of Philadelphia, and his grandfather was a Congressman and Chairman of Philadelphia’s Democratic City Committee.
David Oh is also returning, and is currently running for City Council At-Large for the City of Philadelphia. Mr. Oh is a former District Attorney and a former Officer, U.S. Army 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne). In 2007 Mr. Oh ran for Philadelphia City Council At-Large, although he won on Election Day, he lost by 122 votes days later when absentee ballots were counted. Mr. Oh was endorsed by the Philadelphia Inquirer, The Philadelphia Tribune, The Northeast Times, and The Philadelphia Sunday Sun. Mr. Oh was also endorsed by the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce-Penn PAC, The Black Clergy of Philadelphia and Vicinity, Teamsters Joint Council No. 57, SEIU Pennsylvania State Council, United Food and Commercial Workers' Union Local 1776, Fraternal Order of Police, and the Gas Workers' Union local 686.
